Natalie and Tara are two millennial female farmers who shared their experiences and expertise with us on dairy farming, the anti-meat narrative, nutrition and meat, feeding steers and dairy cows, labeling meat, and so much more. We loved hearing a different perspective on conventional farming from two passionate women in the agriculture industry who are trying to make a difference for farmers.

In this episode, Corey and I chat with Crystal from the Abundantly Blessed Homestead about how the cost of real food might be more affordable than we might think. Crystal gives lots of ideas on how to stretch your budget (ie: drinking broth before meals to help fill you up) while still eating nutrient-dense real foods. She also breaks down the cost of a few meals she has made for her family and compares them to the cost of purchasing the same processed food version. While this episode does mention specific costs of certain foods, inflation and the market is ever-changing, and since this episode was recorded there has been some fluctuation.
